Commuters and other road users are currently groaning on Ikorodu Road as heavy traffic delayed hundreds of Lagosians going to work early Friday, 13th March, 2026.

Eyeonthenews.news observed that some broken down vehicles at Anthony Bus Stop caused the heavy traffic, which started around 6:30am, delaying passengers coming from Ikeja, Ikorodu town and Ojota axis of Lagos State.

As at the time of filling this report, many vehicles are stuck around Maryland, and the heavy traffic has extended towards Oshodi and other busy areas.

Meanwhile, the traffic is not that heavy from Onipanu Bus Stop towards Yaba and Alagomeji, Oyingbo and Surulere, while movement of vehicles are smooth at Breweries, and other parts of Western Avenue.

As expected, traffic is also smooth from Lagos Island inwards Ikorodu Road.
