Enzo Fernández will be a new Manchester City player as reports say Chelsea will allow him to leave.
It was gathered that the deal is close, almost done and may happen before the summer transfer window closes tonight.
According to information obtained by AS, the Citizens and Chelsea have agreed to a transfer worth almost €140 million ($160.5 million), making the Argentine the second-most expensive signing in Premier League history, behind only Alexander Isak, who joined Liverpool for €150 million ($174 million).
Enzo will sign a five-year contract through 2031, with an option for an additional season.
He is expected to travel to Manchester in the coming hours to undergo his medical and put pen to paper on his new deal with the club.
