US President Donald Trump says he spoke to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hezbollah for the Lebanon ceasefire, adding that both sides agreed to stop their attacks.

Earlier, Netanyahu ordered Israeli attacks on the southern suburbs of Beirut.

There are conflicting reports: Iranian news agency Tasnim reported message exchanges were halted due to Israel’s deepening military action in Lebanon.

However, Trump said on his Truth Social platform that Washington had not been informed of a withdrawal.

Mediated Negotiations: A memorandum of understanding is being mediated primarily by Pakistan. Trump sent revised edits of the proposal back to Tehran for review.

Core Issues: The parties are negotiating extensions to the ceasefire, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, US sanctions relief, and the scope of Iran’s nuclear program.

Recent Clashes: The diplomatic process remains volatile, with the US recently striking Iranian radar sites and intercepting ballistic missiles fired toward US forces in Kuwait.
