Celebrity businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has reacted to the outcome of the All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Representatives primary election for Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency of Imo State.
Cubana, who is the Imo State Coordinator of the City Boys Movement, lost his bid after scoring only 14 votes, while the winner of the election in that locality, an incumbent, scored over 2,000 votes.
The nightlife promoter was widely mocked by many for failing to secure the APC ticket despite his support for President Bola Tinubu.
Reacting, Cubana said his only regret was trusting elders in his community.
“I’m a hustler, and I didn’t regret trying to contest for a position. My only regret was trusting the elders in the community,” Cubana said with disbelief.
“I know how much I gave them, but only 14 people voted for me in the primary”.
