Nigeria’s Super Eagles are right now leading Mozambique by three goals nothing in their 2025 African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) Round Of 16 match.
Ademola Lookman opened scoring for the Nigerian side in about quarter hour mark, and went ahead to give an assist that paved way for Victor Osimhen’s goal to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead in the first half.
Barely two minutes into the second half, Lookman broke through from the left flank, sends a finished pass to Osimhen who needed just a tap-in for his second goal on the night, that gives Nigeria a deserved 3-0 lead.
Akor, who fed Lookman for the first goal, finally registered his name amongst the scorers of the night, making Nigeria’s goals 4-0.
