The pair of Carlos Alcaraz and Serena Williams will face a qualifier in the first round of the US Open 2026 mixed doubles event.
It was was also gathered that top seeds Novak Djokovic and Aryna Sabalenka will face Francis Tiafoe and Leylah Fernandez.
Alcaraz and Williams, who will return to the US Open for the first time since 2022; were handed a wildcard entry to the 16-team tournament on Sunday.
Meanwhile, American second seeds Jessica Pegula and Taylor Fritz will open against Diana Shnaider and Casper Ruud, while two-time defending champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori will start against Mirra Andreeva and Andrey Rublev.
