Reports say English Premier League (EPL) star Mohamed Salah, has quietly spent $50 million to build a gas station in Egypt.
But what left the entire nation stunned was the decision he made afterwards; it was gathered that the gas station opened with one single rule: ‘Fuel is completely free for everyone.
According to the instructions given by Salah; “No matter rich or poor. No conditions. No limits.
“From low-income workers and long-haul drivers to elderly people living alone, anyone in need can fill up their tanks for free”.
Salah reportedly said softly to those close to him: “They built this country. I’m only giving back a small part.”
One elderly driver broke down in tears right at the station, saying that in his entire life, he never imagined there would be a day when he could fill his tank without worrying about money.
While many stars choose supercars, mansions, or yachts, Salah chose to keep the wheels of everyday life moving in his country.
Once again, the “King of Egypt” doesn’t just score goals on the pitch — he scores straight into the hearts of millions in his country.
