Wizkid, Burna Boy & Asake To Headline Afro Nation Festival In Portugal

Popular Nigerian artistes Wizkid, Burna Boy and Asake have been confirmed as headliners for the 2026 edition of the Afro Nation Festival in Portugal.

The organisers announced the Phase 3 lineup on Thursday via a post on X (formerly Twitter), unveiling a star-studded roster that blends Afrobeats, R&B, dancehall and amapiano acts.

According to the organisers, the three-day festival will take place from July 3 to July 5, 2026, at Praia da Rocha Beach in Portimão, Portugal.

Grammy Award winner Burna Boy will headline the opening night on July 3, sharing the stage with South African sensation Tyla.

Asake is billed to headline the second day on July 4, while global Afrobeats star Wizkid will close the festival on July 5.

American R&B singer Kehlani and rapper Gunna have also been announced as special guests.

Other Nigerian artistes on the lineup include Olamide, Young Jonn, Darkoo, Wande Coal and Mavo.

The organisers further disclosed that early access ticket sales will begin on Thursday, February 5, at 10:00 a.m. GMT.
