Remo Stars Football Club and Enyimba International will do battle in a crunch Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match on Sunday, 6th December, 2025.

The encounter is slated for the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta  with both clubs seeking a much-needed lift after difficult runs on and off the pitch.

The encounter arrives at a time when neither side has been able to find rhythm, and lingering managerial instability has compounded their struggles in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Remo remain without their head coach Daniel Ogunmodede, who has been away from the club since matchday six and is not expected to return until February.

Assistant coach Sulaimon Kamil continues to take charge in his absence, but the team have found consistency hard to come by and have spent most of the campaign in the lower reaches of the table.

Speaking to the club’s media ahead of the match against Enyimba, Kamil said they would continue to work towards improvement.

“We keep fighting and pushing to get a result. I am very sure that we will get one. We play against Enyimba on Sunday,” he said.

“It is going to be a very tough game for us. It is a big game. When a club has a new coach, there are always changes. Nevertheless, we have to fight and make sure we get maximum points. We cannot afford to drop anything now. We need to win so that we can have a chance of competing.”
